OVERVIEW
NULLPOINT uses SMS messaging to send employees work-related notifications such as daily task lists, scheduling updates, shift reminders, operational notices, and other internal employment-related communications.
HOW_CONSENT_IS_COLLECTED
Employees are enrolled in the SMS messaging program only after they provide consent to receive text messages for work-related communications. Consent may be initiated through management or the employee's supervisor during onboarding or scheduling setup, but the employee is informed that they may receive SMS messages from NULLPOINT for employment-related purposes and may opt out at any time.
HOW_CONSENT_IS_DOCUMENTED
For each enrolled employee, NULLPOINT retains records showing:
- employee name
- mobile phone number
- date consent was obtained
- method by which consent was obtained
- purpose of the messaging program
- opt-out status, if any
These records are maintained internally and can be provided upon request as proof that consent was obtained before sending messages. Twilio's Messaging Policy requires proof of consent to include the recipient's consent and the date and method through which it was obtained.
MESSAGE_TYPE_AND_PURPOSE
Messages sent through this program are limited to internal business communications related to employment, including but not limited to:
- daily task assignments
- employee updates and responses
- scheduling changes
- attendance-related notices
- operational announcements
- other job-related notifications
These messages are not used for unrelated marketing or third-party promotional content.
OPT_OUT_PROCESS
Employees may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a message or by notifying management directly. When an opt-out request is received, the employee's messaging status is updated promptly to prevent further SMS delivery except where permitted for confirmation of the opt-out request.

Hello [name]. Here are your tasks for the day: ... Please respond with your updates. Reply STOP to opt out.
RECORD_RETENTION
NULLPOINT retains proof of consent and opt-out records for enrolled recipients as part of its messaging compliance process.
PRIVACY_AND_USE_OF_INFORMATION
Employee mobile numbers are used only for legitimate business communications related to employment and are handled according to NULLPOINT's applicable privacy and data handling practices.
